(More customer reviews)This pool is NOT "pop-up" in the conventional sense of yard bins, pet kennels, etc. The sides are not rigid as with every other "pop-up" item I've purchased, they are merely PVC that will not stand up without the pressure of water. The inflated chamber ring will not hold air, indicating there must be either faulty intake or multiple leaks. I assume the intent of the inflated ring is to hold the sides upright, not certain if that's true. Absent that functionality, filling the pool requires two adults to hold the sides upright while filling the pool to avoid spillover. So it is mildly functional, but the lack of a functioning inflated rim means lots of spillout during play and subsequent refilling.
Unfortunately there were no reviews, and this was a desperate purchase in the midst of the Northwest heatwave. I depend on amazon to have accurate product descriptions and sell quality products. Had I seen this in a store I would have passed, as it is not what was described. Given the relatively low cost and the cost to return, I'll keep it, but I'm not at all happy.
