(More customer reviews)I have had this pump for 4 years and always works great on all our inflatables. Good pressure makes the tubes hard, easy to change adaptors, and can fill 3 or 4 large inflatables in a row without getting to hot. The other review with 1 star I would guess is because they didn't know what they were doing. You hook the hose up to either the inflate or deflate connector. It's not difficult at all so don't be scared by the bad review. If I based the review in this price category I would give 5 stars but since there are some better pumps out there even though they are twice the price I gave it 4 stars. I would buy again if I ever had a problem.
