(More customer reviews)Every year I buy a unique inflatable float for use at our family's bay-front home. The BeachComber Fun Island was a big hit on the beach this year when we filled it with water and used it as a kiddie pool. The inflatable roof provided shade from the sun and made the island unique. Unfortunately, when it was used as a float on the bay the lack of an encircling rope made it difficult to hang on to. Even in a pool the absence of a grab rope makes it difficult to board.
I give the BeachComber Fun Island 5 stars for uniqueness, 4 stars for value, and 3 stars for usability. It would have been 5 stars across the board if it came equipped with a rope mounted around it's perimeter.
