The included literature describes the "new and improved" valve- I don't know what it was like before they improved it, but this valve is terrible. I inflated it- there's no one-way flap on it, so as soon as you try to plug it up much of the air escapes- and inserted the plug on the valve. Ten seconds later the plug popped out and the ring deflated. I repeatedly tried to inflate it, but each time the plug would pop out. It's going back to the store this afternoon.
