(More customer reviews)The Swim Trainer is an easy on easy off swimming aid that the child steps into and then velcros at the shoulders and tightens on the sides. The front and back pouch have 9 remomovable bouyancy pads that can be taken out (without the child even knowing) as the childs swimming ability increases.
This is a great learning to swim tool. Both my children have used it since they were about 20 months old and it has been a total success with building their confidence in the water.
My youngest who is 2 and weighs about 24 lbs had some trouble with balancing and was tipping over. We remedied this problem by removing one of the 9 removalble pads in the front of the trainer and never had another problem.
Another bonus with this swim trainer is that the children have free movement of their arms (unlike floaties) so they learn to paddle.
I would recommend this to anyone with a child learning to swim.
