(More customer reviews)Do not look at the marketing photo to imagine what it will be like to receive this product. Instead, imagine receiving a huge cardboard box with a bunch of cheap made-in-china materials worth a total of $10 that take 30 minutes to put together.
Within a month, the fuzzy fabric material became permanently caked with calcium deposits from the pool. The chlorine is eating away at the thin metal rods. A screw fell out and water leaked into one pontoon through the screw hole, so the float sank into the water at an angle. Besides all this, the chair is almost impossible to get into without assistance from another person, and the cupholders are so shallow they are useless. My pool service company laughed at it and said it won't last through the summer. They recommended an all aqua-foam raft that won't fade, rust, warp, corrode, break, get hot, etc.
This is the type of product that makes you furious at the company who made it because you know that they know this product is junk, but as long as suckers keep buying it- they will keep selling it for ridiculous prices and laughing all the way to the bank.
I would not even pay five dollars for this product- I would pay five dollars for someone to come disassemble it and take it to the dump. I think I will just beat it with a sledgehammer until it fits into my garbage can. Based on my experience with this item, I am avoiding anything made by the company 'Swimways'.
